36th KMF Performer's Profile - 匪夷所思 (FlexiTones)

Year 2003 FlexiTones A Cappella Ensemble was formed and being guided by Mr. & Mrs. Tan Hooi Soong for the music and vocal training.


Year 2004 FlexiTones held tour concerts in Johor Bahru, Muar, Kuala Lumpur & Singapore.
FlexiTones took part in the 3rd Choir Olympic held in Germany, Bremen and was awarded with Gold diploma and Silver medal in the qualifying round and final round respectively.

Year 2005 FlexiTones was invited to perform for the 50th Anniversary of Malaysian-Chinese Youth Association celebration night.
FlexiTones was later on became a member of Persatuan Belia Wawasan Johor.
FlexiTones took part in the 6th River del Galda Choir Festival in Italy and won a Silver medal in the pop music category.

Year 2006 FlexiTones had its open concert with a musical entitled “Hi! Café”.
FlexiTones was invited to take part in International Chorus Festival held in Taiwan.
FlexiTones was invited to perform musical “Shanghai Night” organized by Johor Bahru Music Society.

Year 2007 FlexiTones was invited to perform in the closing ceremony of Malaysia Youth Choir Camp 2007.

Year 2008 Recorded the first CD album titled “FlexiTones A Cappella Ensemble”.
2nd Open concert was held for FlexiTones to perform “Hi! Café II” in Johor Bahru and then headed on to perform in Ipoh and Klang.
FlexiTones continued to take part in 5th World Choir Games held in Austria, Graz and was awarded Silver in the popular music a cappella category.
FlexiTones won the Gold medal for International Popular Music competition held in Singapore. FlexiTones was invited to perform for the 1st International A Cappella Popular Music Concert in Singapore.

Year 09-10 FlexiTones currently prepares for its 3rd Open tour concert in 2011.


2003年 成立“匪夷所思”重唱小组（FlexiTones A cappella ensemble），由陈徽崇老师及卫燕贞老师担任音乐与声乐指导

2004年 于新山、麻坡、吉隆坡及新加坡等地巡回演出
德国布莱梅《第三届国际奥林匹克合唱赛》荣获流行歌曲音乐组复赛金奖。
德国布莱梅《第三届国际奥林匹克合唱赛》荣获流行歌曲音乐组决赛银牌。

2005年 受邀担任《马来西亚马青50周年团庆》表演嘉宾
加入“马来西亚柔佛州青年宏愿团”
意大利《第六届加尔达湖滨合唱大赛》荣获流行合唱组银牌。

2006年 成功举办首场公开演唱会 – 小型音乐剧《 Hi ! Café 》
受邀参与台湾举办之《国际合唱观摩会》。
受邀参与新山歌乐协会举办大型歌舞剧《上海之夜》

2007年 受邀担任《马来西亚青年音乐营》闭幕表演嘉宾

2008年 发行首张同名专辑 《FlexiTones A cappella ensemble》
第二场公开演唱会 – 小型音乐剧《 Hi ! Café II》
《 Hi ! Café II》怡保、巴生巡回演出
奥地利格拉兹《第五届世界合唱赛》荣获流行歌曲重唱小组银奖。
新加坡《国际流行乐合唱赛》荣获金牌。
受邀担任《新加坡第一届国际无伴奏合唱流行乐演唱会》表演嘉宾。

2009~2010年 积极筹备2011年举办第3场公开巡回演唱会。
